Cancellation Policy
The Awakened Writer Retreat Policy The Awakened Writer Retreat in Nature is designed as a sacred space for inner reflection, creative renewal, and authentic self-expression. By reserving your place, you agree to honor the spirit and practical guidelines that help create a safe, nurturing, and transformative environment for all participants. 1. Booking & Payments A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place. The remaining balance must be paid in full by the specified due date before the retreat begins. All payments confirm your commitment to attend and your understanding of this policy. 2. Cancellations & Refunds Cancellations made more than 45 days before the retreat start date may transfer their booking to another person or a future retreat (subject to availability). Cancellations within 45 days are non-refundable. In the unlikely event the retreat must be canceled by the facilitator due to unforeseen circumstances (such as illness, venue issues, or natural events), participants will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to a future retreat. 3. Conduct & Confidentiality Participants are expected to engage with mutual respect, openness, and kindness. The retreat space is confidential — what is shared by others is not to be repeated outside the group. This ensures everyone feels safe to express and explore freely. Any form of disruptive, disrespectful, or harmful behavior may result in immediate dismissal from the retreat without refund. 4. Health & Responsibility Participants are responsible for their physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing during the retreat. Please inform the facilitator of any medical or psychological conditions that may require attention. The retreat is not a substitute for therapy or medical treatment but can complement your personal and spiritual growth. 5. Environment & Silence This retreat takes place in nature. Participants are asked to honor the natural environment, wildlife, and the land itself. Certain sessions may include periods of silence to deepen self-awareness and creative connection. Respect for quiet spaces is part of the retreat ethos. 6. Liability By attending, you acknowledge participation is at your own risk. The Awakened Writer, its facilitators, and venue hosts are not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to property. 7. Photography & Media Any photos or videos taken by the facilitator during the retreat will only be used for future promotional purposes.
