The Voice That Changed Everything
This film is my life, the most personal story I could ever share. It`s not just the story of what happened to me, but the inner transformation that rewrote my understanding of reality, identity, and purpose. Alignment is a deeply vulnerable offering. It was never intended to be a film in the beginning. It began as a breakdown, a letting go, and a whispered voice that told me, “You are immortal.” That single phrase cracked open a world I had never imagined, one that led me away from everything I thought I knew, and into something far greater: surrender.
From Gamekeeper to Horse Whisperer
I spent my former years as a gamekeeper for the British Royal Family, a role defined by precision, control, and tradition. Outwardly, it was a position of honour. Inwardly, I was quietly unraveling. When my father died unexpectedly when I was a child, this created an undercurrent of grief, confusion and anxiety in me that I was unaware of. I buried it all beneath layers of achievement and busyness. But life, or grace, has a way of bringing us to our knees. Gently at first, and then, if we resist, more forcefully. My awakening came not through success, but through collapse.
The voice that came to me didn’t give me answers. It gave me a question: Who are you, really, without all the armour? That question led me to horses. Not to control them, but to listen to them. They became my teachers. They mirrored my soul. And through them, I began to heal, not just from grief, but from a lifetime of performing, proving, and pretending. This film captures that journey. Not as a polished narrative, but as a raw unfolding. A process of being undone and made new.
